They say practice is never ending, growth eternal. They also say you gotta look back to move forward. They say a bunch n sometimes JM makes sense of it. A bit of a reach back into the archives but starting at the start, STRUGGLEVISION #01 is an attempt at getting out of one's own way a bit, doing what comes naturally, and fighting back against perfect brain, remembering to share, and that simple is best.
Made up of a selection of 35mm frames from an exhaustingly extensive body of work mostly captured between 2022–24 in London and Margate (UK), and on Wurundjeri, Bunurong, Taungurung, Dja Dja Wurrung, and Djab Wurrung country (Kulin Nations).
36 page A5 B&W photozine + A3 fold out colour poster cover. Digitally printed Black throughout on 100gsm recycled enviro care at CMYK hub (Naarm), and full colour on 115gsm gloss paper at Dinkums (Naarm). Saddle stitch for inners, Black elastic band to attach poster. Single edition of 33 available in person, at Sticky Institute & Joe’s Best Ever only.
